Wifi transmission standards
If encountering problems with connecting devices to the network, it should be checked whether devices work in the same wifi standards (b/g/n). I found such cases, when wifi router was broadcasting in n standard and my 6-year old laptop was not able to connect
to it - connection attempt was not even noticed by the router.
Devices not always obtain IP addresses
Simply try restarting the network or restart wifi module in your device. I don't know the reason for such behavior yet, as my program does not interact with such a low-level hosted network features. Connection establishing is handled entirely by Windows,
it can be only told to start such service.
